’m Danielle Germain, a Communications Director in the tech policy industry on Capitol Hill, founder of Career Toolkits by Dee, and a lifelong storyteller at heart.

My professional background is rooted in journalism, which means I’ve always been drawn to clarity, truth, and the power of a well-told story. Today, that foundation shows up in my work at Engine, where I help translate complex policy issues into clear, human narratives that founders, business owners, and everyday professionals can actually understand.

Outside of my policy work, I run Career Toolkits by Dee, a career strategy, content, and community platform designed to support professionals, students, creatives, and small business owners as they navigate growth, pivots, and long-term success. What started as a career resource has evolved into a broader ecosystem—one that blends career development, storytelling, community-building, and visibility in a way that feels sustainable and real.
